Three Days on the Amalfi Coast

Woorden van The Editors

The Amalfi Coast rewards the unhurried. Three days is enough — if you spend them properly, which is to say, slowly.

Day one: Positano. Arrive late morning, swim before lunch, and take a long table by the water. Linen, espresso, nowhere to be. The afternoon is for doing nothing with intention.

Day two: a boat to Capri. Skip the crowds at the top; the pleasure is the water and the company. Back for an evening in Ravello, where the gardens hold the light long after the coast below has gone dark.

Day three: the drive itself. Windows down, no schedule, the long way home. The coast is not a checklist. It is a reminder that the good life is a pace, not a place.
